Phoebe Bridgers started touring last month and at a lot of her shows she’s been performing a cover of Bo Burnham’s “That Funny Feeling,” which appeared in the comedian’s Netflix special Inside. Today, Bridgers has released her “That Funny Feeling” cover on Bandcamp for the latest Bandcamp Friday, with all proceeds from the song going to a wide variety of Texas abortion funds. In a statement, Bridgers had a message for the Texas governor: “This one’s for Greg Abbott.” Listen to Bridgers’ cover of “That Funny Feeling” below.

Pistol Annies — the country music trio featuring Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley — have announced their first Christmas album, Hell Of A Holiday, which will be out in the seasonally appropriate month of October. It’ll be their first full-length since 2018’s Interstate Gospel, which we named an Album Of The Week. Today, Pistol Annies have shared Hell Of A Holiday‘s first single, “Snow Globe.” Listen below.

Savannah metal veterans Mastodon announced their new album Hushed And Grim, the follow-up to 2017’s Emperor Of Sand, a few weeks ago. But the one song we’ve already heard from the album, the hard-riffing “Pushing The Tides,” was decidedly not hushed. And neither is new track “Teardrinker,” which comes with a Lorenzo Diego Carrera-directed video of the band entering different universe in an empty warehouse. Watch and listen below.
