ice nine kills jason voorhees

Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas is a serious horror movie obsessive. The singer fell in love with fright movies at an early age. Over the years, he’s become well-versed in the classics and the deep cuts alike. As a result, INK draws major influences from the genre. The band is immersed in the gruesome […]

best 1998 albums, alkaline trio, hole, beastie boys, the offpsring

1998 really wasn’t that long ago, but after saying the number 2021 out loud, it feels like it happened during another lifetime. To put things in perspective, Billie Eilish was born three years after 1998, and, hell, even FINNEAS was born the year before. Despite the fact that said year was toward the end of […]

Howdy, everyone! I am back again and ready to review some more awesome music that is coming out very very soon. Now, I don’t know about anyone else out there but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t becoming more and more obsessed with ska bands, ska music, and ska covers during quarantine (shout out Ska Tune Network on YouTube). Since I have already said ska a million times in the first 2 sentences of this review, can you take a guess as to who I am reviewing today? Anyone? Bueller? People who thought Less Than Jake would be correct! Their newest album Silver Linings is dropping on December 11th via Pure Noise Records and lucky me, I got to have a sneak-peak. Let us fuel the ska fire in my heart and in yours.  Silver Linings will be featuring their 3 previously released singles, “Lie To Me”, “Dear Me” and “Anytime And Anywhere”. The album has 12 songs total which goes to show all of us that these ska-punk veterans are still out here killing it. And we all couldn’t be more grateful for that.  When you hear that a new ska-punk album is coming out, you […] For more, go to: TheGirlsAtTheRockShow.com (Source)
