In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, former Guns N’ Roses drummer Frank Ferrer opened up about his departure from the band after nearly two decades. Reflecting on the bittersweet split, Ferrer expressed gratitude for his time with the iconic rock group while acknowledging that every chapter eventually comes to an end.

Ferrer stated, “Everything comes to an end. I was just so happy I got to do it when I got to do it, and now I’m doing other stuff.” He emphasized that his exit was amicable and that he maintains positive relationships with the band members.

Since leaving Guns N’ Roses, Ferrer has been busy with two new projects: the Slax and One Night Only. He shared plans for the Slax to record a few covers and originals, while One Night Only celebrates the legacy of the bands he’s been part of, including a Guns N’ Roses song.

As Ferrer transitions into this new phase of his career, he remains optimistic and excited about the opportunities ahead. “It’s a transition, but it’s a good one,” he said, highlighting his enjoyment of working with favorite musicians and participating in various performances.
