New Jimmy Buffett Album to Feature Unreleased Tracks

Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band is set to release a posthumous album featuring previously unheard songs, three years after the beloved musician’s passing. The album, which is still untitled, promises a treasure trove of tracks that fans have never heard before.

Mac McAnally, one of the album’s co-producers, shared insights about the upcoming release, stating that most of the songs were recorded between 2003 and just a few years ago. Among the highlights is the song “Workin’ ‘n’ Playin’,” which Buffett first performed during his 2015-2016 tour.

McAnally expressed excitement about the project, noting that the music captures Buffett’s spirit. He remarked, “When you hear Jimmy sing, you can tell that he’s smiling; you can hear that smile.” The album also includes tracks from the 2017 musical Escape to Margaritaville and music from Buffett’s cameo in Jurassic World.

While a release date has yet to be announced, fans can look forward to a unique collection that showcases Buffett’s legacy and joy.
