Avenged Sevenfold Surprises Fans with New EP ‘STATICA’

Avenged Sevenfold has just dropped a surprise EP titled ‘STATICA’ featuring four brand new tracks. Released on July 23, this experimental collection marks the band’s first new music since their 2023 album Life Is But a Dream….

Unlike their previous standalone single, ‘Magic,’ which was part of Call of Duty’s Black Ops 7, ‘STATICA’ takes listeners on a wild sonic journey. The opener, ‘LIGHTS,’ evokes a futuristic haunted mansion vibe, while the other tracks showcase a blend of early 2000s hip-hop influences, creating a frenetic and unique sound.

As fans dive into the new music, they can also look forward to Avenged Sevenfold’s co-headlining tour with Good Charlotte, kicking off tomorrow, July 25, in Ridgedale, Missouri. This tour runs through late August before the band heads to Brazil for a performance at Rock in Rio, followed by stops in Asia and Australia later this fall.
