Stray Cats Launch 2026 Tour with Thrilling Vegas Show

The Stray Cats have officially kicked off their highly anticipated 2026 U.S. tour, and they did it in style! The iconic rockabilly band took the stage at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on July 24, delivering an electrifying 22-song set that had fans on their feet.

This performance marked the band’s first since Brian Setzer’s health issues forced them to cancel their fall 2025 tour. Setzer, who faced serious challenges due to an autoimmune disease, showcased his remarkable recovery as he led the band through classic hits like “Stray Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town.”

Alongside their original tracks, the band paid homage to rock ‘n’ roll legends with covers of Eddie Cochran’s “Twenty Flight Rock” and Santo & Johnny’s “Sleep Walk.” The encore featured Elvis Presley classics, including “Jailhouse Rock” and “Hound Dog,” before wrapping up with the fan-favorite “Built for Speed.”

With dozens of shows lined up through the end of the year, this tour promises to be a thrilling ride for rock fans everywhere. The first leg of the tour concludes on August 16 in Morristown, New Jersey, before the band takes a break and returns for a second leg starting November 9 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
