Harms Way to Honor Bo Lueders with Memorial Show in Chicago

Next month, the Chicago hardcore scene will come together to celebrate the life of the late Bo Lueders, guitarist for Harms Way and co-host of the HardLore podcast. This memorial gathering is set for August 29 at the historic Bohemian National Cemetery, marking the first live performance by Harms Way since Lueders’ passing on April 2.

The lineup for this poignant event features Harms Way alongside fellow hardcore bands Twitching Tongues, Linda Claire, Weekend Nachos, and The Killer. Notably, Twitching Tongues includes Colin Young, a close friend of Lueders.

Tickets for the memorial show will go on sale starting July 31 at 10 AM CT, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local organizations focused on mental health and community support. Harms Way has partnered with PLUS1 to ensure that $3 from every ticket sold goes to these vital causes.

Bo Lueders was a cornerstone of the Chicago hardcore scene, co-founding Harms Way in 2006 and contributing to their evolution into a prominent force within the genre. His legacy will undoubtedly resonate through this heartfelt tribute.
