In a disappointing turn of events for rock fans, AC/DC has officially canceled their highly anticipated concert scheduled for September 16, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in Toronto. The decision comes after a severe thunderstorm wreaked havoc on the venue, causing significant damage to its seating areas.

The storm, described as a ‘100-year storm,’ struck on September 2, leading to buckling and major structural issues within the stadium. In a statement released on social media, the venue expressed their regret over the cancellation, emphasizing the safety of fans, artists, and staff as their top priority.

As part of their ‘Power Up’ tour, this show was set to be the third-to-last performance for the legendary Australian rock band. With only three dates remaining, AC/DC will continue their tour with shows in Montreal on September 12 and East Rutherford, NJ, on September 25, before concluding in Philadelphia on September 29.

Fans are left hoping for a swift recovery for Rogers Stadium, as the iconic band continues to deliver electrifying performances across North America.
