Windy City rockers Interlay are back with exciting news for fans! The band has announced their third EP, titled Snow Covers Your Insides, inspired by the works of Sylvia Plath. Set to release on October 23, this EP promises to deliver their signature blend of noise-caked, melodic post-hardcore.

The lead single, “Silo,” showcases dramatic falsetto vocals and a grandiose vibe that fans of Sunny Day Real Estate and Knifeplay will surely appreciate. According to singer-guitarist Alexandria Ortgiesen, the song draws from a poignant memory of a late-night experience on a friend’s farm, capturing feelings of loneliness and vivid imagery of dawn.

Ortgiesen expresses her pride in experimenting with sound, particularly using a Leslie speaker to layer noise and feedback, which she feels is integral to her identity as a guitarist.
