In a disappointing turn of events, multi-platinum rock band Papa Roach has announced the cancellation of their performance at the upcoming Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY, scheduled for September 19th. The band was set to close out the Life Stage, but an unexpected medical emergency involving bassist and vocalist Tobin Esperance has forced them to withdraw.
In a heartfelt statement, the band expressed their concern for Tobin’s health, stating, “After careful consideration and advice from medical professionals, Papa Roach bassist Tobin Esperance will be unable to perform this weekend due to an unexpected emergency. Therefore, we will not be able to perform at this year’s Louder Than Life festival, and wish everyone the best. Right now, Tobin’s health is our immediate concern.” They also mentioned looking forward to welcoming him back on stage in November.
