Sammy Hagar Wraps Up Van Halen-Themed Tour, Leaves Out Fan Favorites

After an incredible run, Sammy Hagar is bringing his Best of All Worlds tour to a close, leaving fans buzzing about what songs made the cut and which ones were left behind. This tour, which kicked off in 2024, has taken Hagar across North America and even to Las Vegas for a series of successful residencies.

Hagar, alongside bandmates Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani, typically performs around 18 songs per show, with 11 of those being Van Halen classics. However, die-hard fans may notice the absence of some beloved tracks from the David Lee Roth era, such as “Hot for Teacher” and “Jamie’s Cryin’.” Instead, Hagar has leaned into hits like “Jump” and “Panama.”

Interestingly, while Hagar has included many of his own hits, some notable Van Halen songs, including “Dreams” from the 1986 album 5150, have been completely omitted. Fans have also been left wanting for deeper cuts like “Get Up” and “A.F.U. (Naturally Wired).”

As Hagar looks to the future, he has expressed a desire to move away from being solely known as the Van Halen guy. He plans to take a break before launching a new tour focused on his solo work and Montrose material. Stay tuned for what’s next from this rock legend!
