Talking Heads is set to thrill fans with the announcement of an expanded super deluxe edition of their iconic 1979 album, Fear of Music. This highly anticipated collection will feature a remastered version of the original album, alongside a treasure trove of rarities and previously unreleased tracks.

Available in both three CD/Blu-ray and six LP vinyl formats, the reissue includes two complete concerts from the band’s legendary Fear of Music tour, recorded live at Boston’s Berklee Performance Center on August 24, 1979, and at Capitol Theatre in New Jersey on November 17, 1979. Most of this live material has never been released before, making it a must-have for any die-hard fan.

Additionally, the Blu-ray will offer a new mix of the album in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound, along with rare footage of the band performing on the English TV show, Old Grey Whistle Test.

Originally released on August 3, 1979, Fear of Music marked a pivotal moment in Talking Heads’ career, propelling them to new heights on the Billboard 200. The super deluxe edition is set to drop on November 13, and pre-orders are already available.

You may hear classic rock, modern rock, alternative, indie, folk-rock, Southern rock, pop-rock, punk, metal, acoustic-driven songs, local Nashville artists, and emerging independent acts. And every hour, we play an “out-of-the-box mystery song” that could be rock, could be metal, could be classic, could be pop, could be a deep-cut, could be a remix, could be a mashup, or could be a song you never heard or one you loved but forgot about. This is radio for listeners who still love discovery.
