In a heartfelt announcement, Jennifer Finch, the iconic singer and bassist of ’90s grunge-punk band L7, revealed she has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. This news comes just months after the band announced their farewell tour, which Finch has decided to step back from due to her health challenges.

At 59, Finch has already undergone multiple surgeries and will require ongoing medical care. To support her, friends and family have set up a GoFundMe campaign aimed at covering her treatment costs and assisting with her creative projects.

Despite her diagnosis, Finch has encouraged L7 to continue with their tour plans. Bandmate Donita Sparks expressed the band’s devastation over the news, emphasizing their commitment to supporting Finch during this difficult time. “Jennifer is family, and we want her to feel the full strength of the community that has loved and supported her for so many years,” Sparks stated.
