Phil Collins Unveils Deluxe Vinyl Box Set for Face Value’s 45th Anniversary

Phil Collins is celebrating the 45th anniversary of his iconic debut solo album, Face Value, with an exciting new release. Set to drop on September 18, this deluxe vinyl box set features four LPs packed with previously unreleased material.

Among the highlights is a live version of “You Know What I Mean,” recorded at Perkins Palace in Pasadena back in 1982. Fans can also look forward to two more unreleased live performances from the same era, as well as a special outtake of Collins’ cover of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows.” Additionally, a full version of “Over The Rainbow” will be included, along with stripped-back performances of classics like “In The Air Tonight” and “The Roof Is Leaking.”

The set will also feature a half-speed remaster of the original album and new liner notes by acclaimed music journalist Tom Doyle, which includes a fresh interview with Collins discussing the album’s impact and legacy.
