Neurosis has made a powerful return to the stage, debuting new frontman Aaron Turner at the Fire In The Mountains festival in East Glacier Park, Montana. This marks the band’s first performance in seven years, following the departure of former lead singer Scott Kelly.
Turner, known for his work with Isis, Sumac, and Old Man Gloom, stepped into the role amidst challenging circumstances. The post-metal legends showcased their resilience by delivering a set that highlighted their latest album, An Undying Love For A Burning World, released earlier this year.
Their 10-song performance included fan favorites such as “The Tide” from 2001’s A Sun That Never Sets and “Lost” from 1993’s Enemy Of The Sun. The event was not only a musical milestone but also supported the youth suicide prevention charity, Firekeeper Alliance.
With a fresh lineup and renewed energy, Neurosis is set to make waves in the rock scene once again.
