Chris Holmes of W.A.S.P. Faces Cancer Battle Again

In a heartfelt announcement, Chris Holmes, the former guitarist of W.A.S.P., has revealed that he is battling cancer for the second time. After successfully overcoming throat and neck cancer in 2022, Holmes now faces a new challenge: prostate cancer. This diagnosis has prompted him and his wife, Catherine, to launch a crowdfunding campaign to help cover the mounting medical costs that their insurance does not support.

Holmes shared that he is currently undergoing radiotherapy in France, a treatment deemed essential and time-sensitive. Unfortunately, due to an administrative error related to their marriage registration, he has been placed under ’emergency only’ coverage, delaying his care for three months. The couple has already incurred bills exceeding €20,000 (around $22,700) and is reaching out to fans for support.

“We never imagined we would have to write something like this again,” they stated. The couple emphasized that every contribution, no matter how small, will directly assist with medical expenses and transport needed for Holmes’s treatment. They also expressed their gratitude for the love and support from fans during this challenging time.
