Twin Temple Makes Late Night Debut on The Daily Show

Los Angeles-based duo Twin Temple brought their unique blend of ‘Satanic doo-wop’ to the national stage with their late-night debut on The Daily Show on July 29. The husband-and-wife team, Zachary and Alexandra James, performed their haunting track “Haunt Me” from their upcoming album, Doomed Lovers, set to release on October 9.

During their appearance, the duo sparked a lively discussion about modern Satanism, with Alexandra humorously stating, “I think a lot of people think that Satanism is going to orgies and you’re nude under the full moon, drinking chalices of blood and hanging out with goats. And, I mean, we’re here to say that’s absolutely true.” Zachary added, “Every day is the day we wake up and we get to live our true will.”

Despite their controversial removal from two shows with country artist Charley Crockett earlier this month, the duo remains undeterred. They expressed a desire for “a little more Satanic Panic” in today’s world, showcasing their fearless approach to art and identity.

With their new album, produced by Shooter Jennings, the duo aims to push creative boundaries, incorporating lush orchestral elements and a 37-piece orchestra into their sound. They described the album as a reflection of their journey through dark times, emphasizing the healing power of music.
