Swedish rockers THUNDERMOTHER are gearing up for a major release with their upcoming album titled ‘Mothers Of Thunder’, set to drop in February 2027. Fans can get a taste of what’s to come with the first single, ‘Bimbo Boost’, arriving this September.
In a recent interview at the Wacken Open Air festival, guitarist Filippa Nässil and vocalist Linnéa Vikström Egg expressed their excitement about the new album. Linnéa shared, “We’re so looking forward to having this album out, because it’s gonna be fucking killer.” The lyrical inspiration for ‘Bimbo Boost’ promises to be both fun and layered, reflecting Linnéa’s playful take on her own persona.
THUNDERMOTHER, known for their electrifying performances, recently released their live album ‘Live’N’Alive’ in April 2026. With a lineup featuring Nässil, Vikström Egg, returning bassist Majsan Lindberg, and drummer Joan Massing, the band is ready to hit the road again after their successful European tour supporting the legendary SCORPIONS.
