Bruce Dickinson Promises Heavy Sound in New Solo Album

Iron Maiden’s legendary frontman, Bruce Dickinson, has revealed exciting details about his upcoming solo album set to drop in 2027. In a recent interview with VSXproject, Dickinson described the new record as “heavy as sh*t,” hinting at a powerful sound that fans can expect.

While this album won’t directly continue the narrative of his previous mixed media project, ‘The Mandrake Project,’ it will feature at least one track that connects to it. Dickinson emphasized that he wants to keep the music and the comic book story separate, stating, “I think ‘Mandrake’ has a life now on a comic book level, so it can just go on the basis of story and everything else.”

Recording sessions took place earlier this year at the iconic Studio 606, owned by Dave Grohl. With this new project, Dickinson is clearly ready to deliver a fresh and intense musical experience for fans.
