Dave Mustaine Reveals Unreleased Megadeth Tracks from Final Album

In a recent interview, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine opened up about two unreleased tracks from the band’s final album. The songs, titled “Bloodlust” and “Farewell My Love,” were recorded but ultimately didn’t make the cut for the self-titled release that debuted earlier this year.

Mustaine, who has been candid about his health challenges, mentioned a possible third song, “When Robots Rule,” although he admitted he might be mixing up titles due to memory issues stemming from his cancer treatment.

As the band embarks on their farewell tour, Mustaine emphasized his desire to focus on new music rather than revisiting past material. He stated, “If I could play old songs, why wouldn’t I want to focus on new songs instead?” This sentiment reflects his commitment to creating fresh content for fans.

Megadeth’s farewell tour kicked off in North America and includes a significant performance at the Alaska State Fair on August 22. The band will also support Iron Maiden on their 50th-anniversary tour starting August 29. Fans can look forward to more from Mustaine, who is set to release his memoir, “In My Darkest Hour,” on September 8.
