Frank Bello of Anthrax Hopes for Another Big Four Show

In a recent interview, Anthrax bassist and vocalist Frank Bello expressed his enthusiasm for the possibility of reuniting the legendary ‘Big Four’ of thrash metal. The original series of concerts, featuring Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax, took place around 2010-2011 and left a lasting impact on fans and musicians alike.

Bello reminisced about the celebration that Metallica orchestrated, stating, “It was a really wonderful celebration that so many fans came out to, and I thought it was a really beautiful thing.” Despite the challenges of reuniting the bands, especially with the complexities surrounding Dave Mustaine’s relationship with Metallica, Bello remains optimistic. “I would love to do it again, I’ll put it out there,” he said, highlighting the significance of those performances in his career.

As Anthrax gears up for the release of their 12th studio album, Cursum Perficio, set to drop on September 18th, fans are eager to see what the future holds for this iconic band and the potential revival of the Big Four.
