Julianna Barwick and Mary Lattimore are back in the spotlight with an exciting new project! Following their collaborative album Tragic Magic, the duo has announced a film score for the documentary Threshold, which chronicles the inspiring journey of Olympic champion cross-country skier Jessie Diggins.

Today, fans can enjoy three tracks from the score: “Cold Open,” “Sick And Tired,” and “Gallivare 10km.” These pieces showcase the duo’s unique ability to blend ambient textures with emotional storytelling, perfectly complementing Diggins’ remarkable life.

Barwick and Lattimore have described the experience of creating the score as both challenging and rewarding, allowing them to explore a vast sonic landscape while staying true to the narrative of Diggins’ life. The full score, featuring sixteen tracks, will be released on November 20 via Florid Recordings and Blue Pool Recordings.
