Mike Peters Steps Down from Touring with Cancer Bats

In a heartfelt announcement, Mike Peters, the drummer for Cancer Bats, has decided to step back from touring to focus on his family. Peters revealed his decision on September 23rd, marking the end of an era after more than 25 years on the road.

While he will no longer tour, Peters will remain an integral part of the band, continuing to contribute to writing and recording efforts. He expressed his gratitude for the experiences he’s had and the community he’s built through punk and hardcore music.

Taking over drumming duties will be Ian Ski Romano, known for his work with Pig Pen and other projects. Peters has full confidence in Romano, calling him a “ripper” and a great friend.
