THE 69 EYES Unveil Acoustic Single ‘Brandon Lee’

Finnish goth rock legends THE 69 EYES have just released their new single, “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)” via BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of Frontiers Label Group. This track, originally from their 2000 album “Blessed Be,” pays homage to the late actor Brandon Lee, known for his iconic role in the cult classic “The Crow.”

The single was expertly mixed by American producer Matt Hyde, who has an impressive resume that includes work with SLAYER and DEFTONES. Hyde’s recent project, MEGADETH’s self-titled album, hit No. 1 in the U.S., showcasing his talent in the rock scene.

The accompanying music video, filmed at Suomenlinna in Helsinki, features models Corinna Puleo and Lotte Vainio, adding a touch of glamour to the band’s dark aesthetic. “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica)” serves as the lead single from THE 69 EYES’ upcoming acoustic album, set to drop in early 2027.

In addition to the new single, the band is gearing up for an acoustic concert hall tour across Finland in February 2027. Vocalist Jyrki 69 expressed excitement about shifting gears after an intense touring schedule, stating, “Rock ‘n’ roll is at its best live, but now it’s time to shift gears.” This tour promises to deliver fresh acoustic arrangements of their beloved tracks.
