NILE guitarist and vocalist Karl Sanders recently spoke with Rev. Tom Brice on Sportzwire Radio, sharing his enthusiasm about the band’s new album, the follow-up to 2024’s The Underworld Awaits Us All. Sanders revealed that they are currently working on song number six and noted, “Things are humming along. We’re really excited. This new lineup is just on fire!”

With a renewed energy and creativity, Sanders expressed his satisfaction with the material they’ve been crafting, stating, “It’s probably unfair how much fun it is. We’re making metal, and life is good!” He emphasized the importance of taking their time to ensure the album meets their high standards, saying, “It’s smarter to get it right. NILE’s lineup has seen changes recently, with Adam Roethlisberger joining as the new bassist/vocalist. Roethlisberger made his live debut with the band on September 12, 2025, during their U.S. tour with CRYPTOPSY. The band is gearing up for an exciting co-headlining tour with CORONER next March, promising fans a heavy dose of metal.
