Iron Maiden Concludes 2026 U.S. Tour with Epic San Antonio Show

Iron Maiden wrapped up their U.S. leg of the Run for Your Lives world tour in spectacular style on September 29, 2026, at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The legendary band delivered an electrifying performance that captivated over 40,000 fans, proving once again that age is just a number when it comes to rock and roll.

The night kicked off with a high-energy five-song set from Anthrax, who were joined by fill-in drummer Mike Heller, ensuring the thrash legends kept the momentum going. Following them, Megadeth took the stage, delivering a nine-song set that had the crowd roaring with classics like “Tornado of Souls” and “Symphony of Destruction.”

As UFO’s “Doctor Doctor” signaled Iron Maiden’s arrival, the atmosphere in the Alamodome reached a fever pitch. The band opened with a trio of tracks from their early days, showcasing their roots and honoring the legacy of late frontman Paul Di’Anno. Bruce Dickinson, at 68, commanded the stage with his powerful vocals and dynamic presence, proving he can still outshine many younger performers.

The setlist featured a mix of beloved hits and deep cuts, including fan favorites like “The Number of the Beast” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name.” The stunning visuals, including haunting imagery during “Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” added to the immersive experience, making it a night to remember.

As the show concluded, Dickinson assured fans, “We will be back,” leaving the audience eagerly anticipating their next visit. Up next, Iron Maiden will head to Latin America before wrapping up the year in New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.
