Is AC/DC’s Power Up Tour Their Final Bow?

As the iconic AC/DC gears up for the final show of their ‘Power Up’ tour, fans are left wondering if this will mark the band’s last-ever performance. The legendary hard rock group will take the stage at MetLife Stadium, just outside New York City, this Friday night, wrapping up a tour that has spanned over two years.

Though AC/DC has remained tight-lipped about their future plans, their recent social media posts hint at a bittersweet farewell. With lead singer Brian Johnson approaching his 79th birthday and guitarist Angus Young at 71, the question lingers: will they hang up their guitars for good?

While the band has typically toured in conjunction with new album releases, their last studio effort, 2020’s ‘Power Up,’ has fans speculating about what comes next. Historically, the group has only released four albums in the past three decades, leading to long waits between tours.

As the curtain falls on this tour, the rock world holds its breath, hoping this isn’t the final chapter for AC/DC. With a legacy of delivering electrifying performances, the band has always been about the music, and their fans will surely be ready to salute them one last time.
