Bret Michaels, the iconic frontman of Poison, has shared a harrowing experience of performing through intense pain caused by a kidney stone. After successfully playing three shows in Charleston, West Virginia, Grantville, Pennsylvania, and a private performance at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington, he was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.
In a heartfelt social media update, Michaels expressed his gratitude towards the medical professionals who assisted him during this challenging time. He stated, “I am wise enough to know how important family, friends, fans, doctors, and nurses play such a vital role in our everyday health.”
Following the successful operation, he is now focused on recovery and is eager to return to the stage. His next performance is scheduled for July 25, followed by the continuation of his Live And Amplified tour starting July 30 in Interlochen, Michigan. Fans can expect to see him back in top form soon!
