Elvis Costello to Release Massive ‘My Aim Is True’ Box Set on October 2 in Nashville

Elvis Costello is set to celebrate the nearly 50th anniversary of his iconic debut album, My Aim Is True, with a monumental box set scheduled for release on October 2, 2026. This extensive collection boasts 104 tracks, including 52 previously unreleased gems that fans have been eagerly awaiting.

The box set features a brand new remaster of the original album, crafted from the analog tapes, alongside rare photographs and handwritten lyrics that offer a glimpse into Costello’s creative process. Produced by Costello himself and Steve Berkowitz, the set is divided into five discs: My Aim Is True, The Blue Print, The Stranger in the House, Becoming the Attractions, and Covered In Clover.

Costello reflects on this anniversary project, stating, “When first proposed, I thought the whole idea of celebrating a 50th Anniversary of My Aim Is True was preposterous.” He adds a toast to the album and its legacy, showcasing his deep connection to this pivotal moment in his career.

Fans can also look forward to three new versions of the classic track “Watching the Detectives,” available for streaming now, giving a taste of what’s to come in this comprehensive retrospective.
