Iconic all-female rock band GIRLSCHOOL is set to release an archival live album titled Nothin’ To Lose In Reading 1981 on September 25. This album captures their electrifying performance at the Reading Festival, where they made history as the first female rock band to headline the event.

Despite a series of mishaps, including a fender bender in a pink Cadillac and technical difficulties, GIRLSCHOOL delivered a powerhouse show that left the crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 roaring with approval. The album features standout tracks like “C’mon Let’s Go” and their signature cover of “Race With The Devil,” showcasing the band’s raw energy and talent.

Fans can look forward to hearing the title track, which is already available as a single. This release is just the first of five live albums planned to celebrate GIRLSCHOOL’s legacy as pioneers in the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene. With their 50th anniversary approaching in 2028, the band continues to inspire new generations of rock musicians.
