RIVAL SONS guitarist Scott Holiday is stepping into new territory with his solo project, HOL1D4Y, and the upcoming debut album titled Topology, set to drop on September 25, 2026. This exciting venture is being released under RIVAL SONS’ own Sacred Tongue Recordings and will be distributed globally by Thirty Tigers.

The latest single, “Autonomatic,” showcases Holiday’s innovative approach to music, blending themes of autonomy and technology. In his words, “Autonomatic” reflects our evolving relationship with machines and the intrinsic desire for independence.

Holiday’s journey to this point has been anything but conventional. After a life-altering bike accident left him with serious injuries, he channeled his creative energy into developing a unique sound that combines psychedelic elements with alternative rock. The album features contributions from longtime collaborator and RIVAL SONS drummer Michael Miley, whose rhythmic foundation is integral to the project.
