While fans eagerly await new music, Ice-T is also focused on his solo work, with his album ‘Criminal Migraine’ set to drop on August 17th. Notably, he plans to distribute this record exclusively through IceT.com, stepping away from streaming platforms.

Discussing the creative process for ‘Death Wish,’ Ice-T emphasized that the band is starting from scratch, crafting new riffs and ideas. He expressed a commitment to surpassing their previous album, ‘Merciless,’ stating, “if we can’t make an album better than ‘Merciless,’ we shouldn’t make another record.” This dedication to quality promises a thrilling evolution in their sound.

As for the lyrical content, Ice-T hinted at a shift away from overt political commentary, noting that the current state of affairs in the U.S. is already evident to everyone. Instead, he aims for more abstract themes in the new material.
