In a recent interview on “The David Ellefson Show,” Wolf Hoffmann, the iconic guitarist of ACCEPT, expressed his disappointment that no former members, including renowned singer Udo Dirkschneider, participated in the band’s 50th-anniversary album, “Teutonic Titans 1976–2026.” Hoffmann revealed that the band extended invitations to all original members, hoping for a chance to reconnect, but unfortunately, none chose to join in.

Hoffmann described this situation as “sad” and noted how often former bandmates drift apart after leaving. He lamented the lack of communication and friendship that often follows such departures, stating, “It’s really unfortunate. I wish it wasn’t that way…” Despite the absence of former members, the new album features an impressive lineup of 50 guest artists, showcasing reimagined versions of classic tracks from their extensive catalog.
