Peter Gabriel Unveils Details for Upcoming ‘o/i’ Album

Peter Gabriel is back with exciting news about his 11th studio album, titled o/i, set to drop on November 27. This album follows closely on the heels of 2023’s i/o, creating a unique dual release that Gabriel describes as a journey from the inside out and the outside in.

Since January, Gabriel has been teasing fans with preview singles released during each month’s full moon. The forthcoming album features 13 tracks, including the newly announced single “Face the Wall.” Gabriel emphasizes that this record has been a marathon, showcasing a blend of thoughts and feelings about the future.

Collaborating with long-time partners like guitarist David Rhodes and bassist Tony Levin, the album promises a rich sonic experience, available in both “Bright-Side” and “Dark-Side” mixes. Pre-orders are already live, with various formats including a digital-only Dolby Atmos mix.

With themes of transition and artistic reflection, o/i is shaping up to be one of Gabriel’s most ambitious projects yet. Fans can look forward to a deep dive into the artist’s evolving perspective on the world.
