Wounded Touch Unveils New EP and ‘Scarlet Psalm’ Video

Midwestern metalcore band Wounded Touch has just dropped their new EP, They Promised Eden, Vol. 2, via the reactivated Ferret Music label. Alongside this release, they have unveiled a striking music video for the track ‘Scarlet Psalm,’ directed by Indy Nyles.

Vocalist Nick Holland shared insights into the EP, highlighting its blend of cynical themes with an aggressive optimism. He noted that the band felt a renewed energy in the studio, spurred by the positive reception of their earlier release. ‘Scarlet Psalm’ serves as a bridge between their past and present sound, exploring themes of martyrdom and redemption.

The EP also features a revamped version of their 2023 track, ‘Sleep A Cicada Would Envy,’ along with new tracks like ‘Amber Waves Of Arson.’ Holland emphasized that while the two volumes of the EP can stand alone, they are meant to be experienced as a cohesive narrative.
