Exciting news for doom metal fans! A new trio called Autumn Tomb, featuring members from The Sword and Zombi, is set to make waves in the metal scene. This collaboration brings together Steve Moore from Zombi, along with Bryan Richie and Santiago “Jimmy” Vela III from The Sword.

Their self-titled debut album is scheduled for release on November 6th through Spaceflight Records. Moore, who initiated the project back in 2024, recorded the album at his Nightmare City studio in Albany, NY. He expressed his long-standing passion for metal, stating that the 2022 tour where Zombi supported The Sword reignited his love for heavy music.

Vela shared his excitement about the project, noting his admiration for both Moore and Richie. Richie himself was captivated by the initial demos, emphasizing the privilege of collaborating with longtime friends in this new venture. Fans can already stream the lead single, “Crumbling Thrones,” which was released today, October 2nd, and pre-orders for the album are available on Bandcamp.

our story

iRockNashville.com is out-of-the-box radio custom-built for Nashville.
We are an independent internet radio station created to spotlight the music that often falls outside the usual Nashville industry boxes. Our station blends familiar rock favorites, alternative classics, current tracks, independent artists, local bands, and unexpected songs that deserve to be heard. You may hear classic rock, modern rock, alternative, indie, folk-rock, Southern rock, pop-rock, punk, metal, acoustic-driven songs, local Nashville artists, and emerging independent acts. And every hour, we play an “out-of-the-box mystery song” that could be rock, could be metal, could be classic, could be pop, could be a deep-cut, could be a remix, could be a mashup, or could be a song you never heard or one you loved but forgot about. This is radio for listeners who still love discovery.
