Dave Grohl Joins AC/DC for Epic Performance in New Jersey

In an electrifying moment for rock fans, Dave Grohl took the stage with AC/DC during their Power Up tour on October 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Filling in for The Pretty Reckless, Foo Fighters opened the show, setting the stage for an unforgettable collaboration.

As the Australian rock legends launched into their classic hit “Highway To Hell,” Grohl joined them, creating a rare and exhilarating experience for the audience. The performance was particularly special for Grohl, who reminisced about seeing AC/DC’s “Let There Be Rock” at just 11 years old, a moment that ignited his passion for rock and roll.

“I didn’t know that rock and roll could be like that,” Grohl shared, reflecting on the raw energy and intensity he witnessed. This collaboration not only thrilled fans but also highlighted the camaraderie and respect between rock legends.

This show was originally scheduled for September 25 but was postponed due to severe weather. With Foo Fighters already having opened for AC/DC in St. Louis on September 8, this New Jersey performance marked another significant moment in their ongoing partnership.
