Pulp is back in the spotlight with the release of the trailer for their highly anticipated documentary, What Do You Do For An Encore? Directed by Garth Jennings, this 90-minute film promises an exhilarating journey through the band’s evolution from obscurity to cultural icon.

Narrated by frontman Jarvis Cocker, the documentary combines stunning footage from Pulp’s monumental arena shows with never-before-seen archival material. It’s being described as a vibrant tribute to a band that has resonated with generations through their unique blend of irony and social commentary.

Mark your calendars! The film will hit cinemas in the UK and Ireland for one night only on September 18, followed by a screening in US theaters on September 24. After the theatrical run, it will be available for streaming on MUBI.

In conjunction with the film, Pulp will also release Live!, a new live album that serves as the film’s soundtrack, available on August 28. Cocker emphasizes the power of live music, stating, “A concert is an event where songs come back to life.” Don’t miss this chance to experience Pulp like never before!
