The Hinterland Music Festival has officially expanded to four days, launching its 2026 edition with an electrifying Thursday lineup at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in St. Charles, Iowa. Minneapolis five-piece Porch Light set the tone early with their powerful indie alternative rock, showcasing tracks like “Fall Back” and the breakout hit “Oxygen.” Following them, sibling duo Frost Children brought an energetic blend of electronic and emo, captivating a crowd that felt like a late-night party.

As the day progressed, Jane Remover and Oklou offered contrasting performances, blending electronic sounds with rock intensity and atmospheric melodies, respectively. AUDREY NUNA then shifted gears with a high-energy hip-hop set, leading into Ashnikko’s visually stunning performance that combined choreography with her unique sound.

Beabadoobee closed the main stage with a relaxed indie rock vibe, performing new tracks alongside fan favorites.
