Down Returns with First Album in 19 Years, ‘Volume V’

After nearly two decades, the sludge supergroup Down is back with their highly anticipated album, Volume V, set to drop on November 20, 2026. This marks their first full-length release since Down III: Over the Under in 2007 and their first since the Down IV – Part II EP in 2014.

Featuring iconic members like Phil Anselmo of Pantera, Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of Conformity, and Eyehategod’s Jimmy Bower, the album promises to deliver a blend of classic Down sound with fresh elements. Anselmo expressed his excitement, noting the positive energy and focus that shaped the album’s creation.
