The Who are set to unveil a super-deluxe reissue of their 1975 album, The Who by Numbers, on October 30. This expansive 5CD/Blu-ray box set promises a treasure trove for fans, featuring a whopping 92 unreleased tracks, including original demos, concert performances, and early mixes.

Among the highlights are 11 original demos by Pete Townshend, showcasing the creative process behind the album. The reissue also includes live recordings from their iconic June 1976 performance at Vetch Field in Swansea, Wales, and previously unreleased footage from a December 1975 concert at Metropolitan Stadium in Pontiac, Michigan.

Townshend reflects on the album’s personal nature, stating, “The Who by Numbers is a tricky album to talk about. It’s the only one where I allowed songs that were so personal to be used by the Who.” Frontman Roger Daltrey shares his fondness for the album, noting its emotional depth with tracks like ‘Imagine a Man’ and ‘How Many Friends.’
