In a recent chat with Podcast Rock City Live, TWISTED SISTER guitarist Jay Jay French addressed the band’s decision to bring in Sebastian Bach as the new frontman for their fall 2026 shows. This change comes after Dee Snider stepped down due to health challenges.

French expressed his confidence in Bach, stating, “He’s been the greatest… He is the most fun guy.” He acknowledged the mixed reactions from fans, noting that while some believe Snider is irreplaceable, he emphasized that no one truly is. Drawing parallels to other iconic bands, he pointed out that even legends like Freddie Mercury and Steve Perry have been replaced.

As the band gears up for their upcoming shows, including a performance on September 27 at the Washington State Fair Event Center in Puyallup, Washington, French made it clear that the choice to attend is entirely up to the fans. “No one’s forcing you to go anywhere,” he remarked, highlighting the freedom of choice in the concert-going experience.

With a new lineup featuring Bach, French, Eddie Ojeda, Russell Pzütto, and Joey Cassata, TWISTED SISTER is ready to rock the stage once again. The band’s first concert with Bach took place on August 28 at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey, marking an exciting new chapter for the iconic group.
