Papa Roach Cancels Louder Than Life Performance Due to Health Emergency

Papa Roach has officially pulled out of their scheduled performance at the Louder Than Life festival this weekend due to a health emergency involving bassist Tobin Esperance. The band was set to take the stage on Saturday, September 19, in Louisville, Kentucky, marking what was to be their final U.S. date before heading off to Europe for a tour starting November 1.

In a statement released on their social media, the band expressed their concern for Esperance’s health, stating, “After careful consideration and advice from medical professionals, Tobin will be unable to perform this weekend due to an unexpected emergency.” They emphasized that his health is their top priority and thanked fans for their support and respect for his privacy during this time.

As of now, Louder Than Life has not announced a replacement for Papa Roach, who were set to perform at 8:25 p.m. on the Life Stage, right before headliners Limp Bizkit. The festival continues with a lineup that has already seen performances from major acts like Iron Maiden, despite some weather-related disruptions.
