Peter Gabriel Announces New Album ‘oi’ for November Release

Peter Gabriel is set to thrill fans with the release of his eleventh studio album, titled oi, on November 27. This upcoming album marks a significant moment in Gabriel’s career, as it comes just three years after his previous release, i/o, making it the shortest gap between his studio albums since the early 1980s.

Gabriel describes oi as the longest album he has ever put out, featuring 13 tracks that complete the collaborative 25-track project alongside i/o. Over the past year, he has been releasing singles with each full moon, exploring themes of nature, technology, and our place in the world.

This album features contributions from long-time collaborators, including guitarist David Rhodes and bassist Tony Levin, along with a host of talented musicians. Gabriel’s daughter, Melanie, also lends her vocal talents to the project.

Fans can look forward to a unique listening experience, as oi will be available in various formats, including a four-CD pack and double vinyl albums. With its thought-provoking themes and rich musical landscape, oi promises to be a remarkable addition to Gabriel’s discography.
