Metallica is turning heads with their electrifying performances at the Las Vegas Sphere, and their second show on October 3rd was no exception. Following a stunning opener on October 1st, the legendary rockers returned with a completely revamped setlist that thrilled fans.
Opening with the powerful track “Blackened,” which hadn’t been played as an opener since 2014, Metallica took the audience on a journey through their extensive catalog. Highlights included the rarely performed “Devil’s Dance” from the album Reload, marking its first live appearance in 18 years, and “The Outlaw Torn,” which fans hadn’t heard since 2019.
The setlist showcased a mix of classic hits like “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and newer tracks such as “72 Seasons” and “Hardwired.” This residency promises no repeats between shows, making each performance a unique experience for attendees.
As part of their residency, Metallica is also hosting a pop-up shop at the Venetian Resort, offering exclusive merchandise and vinyl pressings. With shows lined up through March 2027, fans can expect more surprises as the band continues to rock the Sphere.
