In a heartfelt initiative, a fundraiser has been launched to support legendary guitarist Chris Spedding as he faces a challenging battle with lymphoma. The 82-year-old musician, known for his incredible work with iconic acts like Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, and Paul McCartney, is currently undergoing an intensive nine-month chemotherapy treatment.

Organized by Eden Cole, the campaign aims to raise £50,000 to assist Chris and his wife, Jody, with essential living and medical expenses during this difficult time. Cole stated, “Anyone who knows Chris understands his kind and generous spirit. He has given us unforgettable music for decades, and now it’s our turn to rally around him.”

Chris Spedding’s illustrious career includes not only collaborations with rock legends but also pivotal roles in shaping the punk scene, having produced early demos for The Sex Pistols and The Cramps. His contributions to music are immeasurable, and the community is coming together to show their appreciation and support.

The fundraiser is currently live, and fans are encouraged to contribute to help this rock icon through his recovery journey.
