David Byrne Unveils Deluxe Edition of Who Is The Sky?

David Byrne, the iconic frontman known for his innovative approach to music, has just released a deluxe edition of his acclaimed album Who Is The Sky?. This new version, available now on Matador, adds four exciting tracks to the original release, which debuted last year after a seven-year hiatus.

Collaborating with Kid Harpoon, Byrne’s original album featured contributions from notable artists like Hayley Williams and St. Vincent. The deluxe edition includes fan-favorite “T Shirt,” alongside two previously unreleased tracks from the album sessions, “My Madness” and “What And Where.” Additionally, there’s a fresh take on the duet “What Is The Reason For It?” featuring Natalia Lafourcade and the Mexican Institute Of Sound.

Byrne’s creative journey continues as he wraps up his year-long tour, with just two shows left: September 17 at Saratoga Performing Arts Center and September 19 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.
