Don McLean Announces 2027 U.K. Farewell Tour Dates

Legendary singer-songwriter Don McLean is set to bid farewell to his U.K. and Ireland fans with an emotional farewell tour in May 2027. The tour will kick off on May 11 at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, marking the start of an eight-show journey that culminates at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London on May 22.

McLean, known for his timeless classic “American Pie,” expressed his gratitude for the support he has received over the past 55 years. He stated, “I love these audiences. They have kept me going for 55 years and given me a career I could not have had anywhere else.” The Royal Albert Hall holds special significance for McLean, as it was the venue of his U.K. debut.

Fans can expect a nostalgic setlist featuring hits from throughout his illustrious career, including favorites like “Vincent” and tracks from his latest album, “American Boys,” released in 2024. Tickets for the shows, except for the London date, will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time, with the London show tickets available starting October 2.
