Rock legend Ann Wilson is set to bring a powerful and personal night of music storytelling to City Winery Nashville on Wednesday, May 20. The Heart frontwoman will screen her new documentary, In My Voice, followed by a live Q&A with Wilson and director Barbara Hall.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., the event will give fans a close-up look at Wilson’s journey from a shy, inward-looking kid to one of the most commanding voices in rock. The film blends candid memories, emotional reflections, and rare archival footage to trace the path that made her a defining force in the genre.

Wilson’s career with Heart helped shape the sound and spirit of classic rock, delivering era-defining songs like “Barracuda,” “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man,” and “Alone.” Along the way, she became a trailblazer for women in rock and helped lead the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

For longtime fans and curious music lovers alike, In My Voice offers a rare chance to spend an evening with one of rock’s most iconic voices in an intimate setting.

our story

iRockNashville.com is out-of-the-box radio custom-built for Nashville.
We are an independent internet radio station created to spotlight the music that often falls outside the usual Nashville industry boxes. Our station blends familiar rock favorites, alternative classics, current tracks, independent artists, local bands, and unexpected songs that deserve to be heard. You may hear classic rock, modern rock, alternative, indie, folk-rock, Southern rock, pop-rock, punk, metal, acoustic-driven songs, local Nashville artists, and emerging independent acts. And every hour, we play an “out-of-the-box mystery song” that could be rock, could be metal, could be classic, could be pop, could be a deep-cut, could be a remix, could be a mashup, or could be a song you never heard or one you loved but forgot about. This is radio for listeners who still love discovery.
